As a seasoned professional in the fields of media and communication, I am passionate about making information clear, engaging, and accessible. I value clarity and authenticity in design, and I enjoy creating inviting digital spaces. Over the years I've worked in various streams of media, starting with photography and journalism, eventually moving my way into video production and filmmaking. No matter where we plan to take it in the end, my process always starts with writing and informal Q&As to flesh out ideas.
My professional networks are rich with creatives who share my passion for prioritizing the story. These connections were developed over the course of the last few years while producing and directing the documentary Wired for Joy (set to be released in 2025). People say I have a knack for seeing things differently and teasing out a story from any situation. I attribute that to the fact that I'm always on the lookout for patterns in the margins that help develop a story in a unique and compelling way.
In 2022, I found a great partnership opportunity with a global network of website and app developers and made the decision to launch Speak Easy. This network of professionals is committed to levelling the playing field by making digital products more affordable and accessible to small businesses, NGOs, artists, and working professionals.
